With a desire to bring something unique to Kuala Lumpur and a deep appreciation for fresh, locally sourced produce, Navin followed his instincts and honed his skills as a self-taught chef. In 2010, he opened Vin's, a cozy restaurant and bar infusing European Mediterranean dishes with his personal touch, delivering delightful experiences with every plate.
Later on, Navin's heartfelt nostalgia for Southeast Asian and European flavors led him to establish Manja KL a warm and inviting space that pays homage to the culinary memories of his upbringing.
As for Velvet the Bar, it's a cool fusion bar with Malaysian-inspired food, great whiskey sours, old-school music, and private space to chat and hang out with friends. Perfect for after-hour drinks!

To educate, inform and sustain the love for food for the community, Navin launched this self-funded project The Food Revolution by Navin Karu on Youtube as a mean to show the corporate social responsibility.

He shares the philosophy on whole foods that contains no MSG, chemicals or any preservatives and are constantly innovating interesting ways to help people spice up their life with awesome recipes. It's all about sharing health topics to the community on safe and healthy choices that impact the food and beverage industry.
